What FedCloud Pays Back

Compliance is the entry ticket. The payback is how you operate after.

The shops winning right now aren't just compliant. They run leaner, ship cleaner, and have audit-ready records sitting there waiting whenever a prime asks. FedCloud gets you in the door. ProShop's Control Layer is what makes the door worth walking through.

Leaner ops

Every job, router, NCR, and CAPA enforced in one system. Fewer spreadsheets, fewer Slack threads, fewer late nights chasing where something went sideways.

Higher revenue per employee

Shops on ProShop consistently report 30 to 50% more revenue per employee than peers on legacy ERPs. The Control Layer is why.

Audit-ready records, always

SPRS scorecards, training logs, access reviews, change control. All captured during execution, not reconstructed the week before the auditor shows up.

Built for aerospace and defense shops handling CUI

If you're running a precision machine shop on DoD contracts, this page is for you:

✅ 10 to 75+ employees

✅ Defense, aerospace, ITAR, or defense subcontractor work

✅ Currently on JobBoss, Epicor, M1, Global Shop, or another ERP not hosted in a FedRAMP-equivalent environment

✅ Being asked for SPRS scores by a prime

✅ Owner, VP of Operations, or IT lead leading the ERP decision

Where the Real CMMC Gap Is

Most shops chasing CMMC Level 2 are focused on the wrong thing. They're documenting policies, training employees, locking down endpoints. Good work. None of it matters if the system where CUI actually lives isn't hosted in a FedRAMP Moderate or Equivalent environment.

JobBoss isn't. Epicor isn't. M1, Global Shop, ECI, generic Microsoft 365, none of them are. Compliance feature add-ons don't change the underlying cloud. If CUI touches a non-compliant environment, your auditor stops the assessment. You don't get a partial pass.

FedCloud is the answer to that one specific failure point. We host your ERP inside the boundary so your auditor can scope around the infrastructure instead of through it.

One of the best things is the fact it’s cloud based, so I can work from anywhere and get things done without being tied down to a computer at the shop.

The Support team is great resolving questions/queries that may arise. Easy to click and navigate, and hyperlinks all over that link to all kinds of parts.

It sounds like a line from a trade journal article, but ProShop is the 3rd ERP system our company has implemented. After 18 months of use, we can honestly say this is the best ERP solution our team has ever used.

ProShop puts organizational, operational, project and part information in a central repository.

The software allows tracking for all processes throughout a job and eliminates much of the scrambling that is present in quick turn prototyping.

Absolutely all of our needs are met in this software and more. The team was also great in implementing our cloud based server on Amazon Gov cloud to help us meet ITAR data security requirements.

Made by machinists. Going through the same audit your shop will.

ProShop was started in a CNC machine shop. We still run one. That's not a marketing line, it's how we know what shop reality looks like at 4:30 on a Friday when a job's behind and a prime is on the phone.

Right now, we're inside an active independent 3PAO assessment for FedRAMP Moderate Ready status, targeting June 2026. Same controls. Same auditors. Same evidence requirements your shop will face when your C3PAO shows up. We're not selling you a process we read about. We're documenting it as we go and building the artifacts you'll inherit.

When your auditor asks how the platform handles a control, you won't be guessing. You'll have the same package we used.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is ProShop FedRAMP certified?

Not yet — and any ERP vendor selling to defense shops who claims to be should raise a red flag. ProShop is in active independent 3PAO assessment of our FedRAMP Moderate aligned environment, targeting completion by end of June 2026. We're the only purpose-built shop-management ERP in this process. The Readiness Assessment Report (RAR) we'll receive is the federal-grade documentation your C3PAO is looking for.

Will ProShop get my shop CMMC Level 2 certified?

No vendor can — and any who promises that is misleading you. Only a C3PAO grants CMMC certification. What ProShop provides is the platform environment and tools to support your readiness, plus 41 fully inherited NIST 800-171 controls handled at our infrastructure layer. That significantly reduces the infrastructure burden of your audit. You own the certification; we make it dramatically more achievable.

How does ProShop compare to JobBoss, Epicor, M1, or Global Shop for CMMC?

The substantive difference is hosting. JobBoss, Epicor, M1, Global Shop, and ECI aren't hosted in FedRAMP-equivalent environments — and the hosting environment is the first thing a C3PAO auditor checks under DFARS 7012. Compliance feature add-ons from those vendors don't change the underlying cloud. ProShop FedCloud runs on AWS GovCloud inside an independently assessed FedRAMP Moderate aligned boundary, which is the structural requirement other shop ERPs don't meet.

What does FedCloud actually include?

The full ProShop platform (ERP, QMS, MES) plus SAFE+ secure file storage, AWS GovCloud hosting, ProShop's FedRAMP Moderate aligned security boundary, and CMMC-specific platform features — Record Classification, Separation of Duties, file-type restrictions, enhanced compliance logging, user access change alerts. 24/7 security monitoring, vulnerability scanning, formal incident response, and extended log retention are bundled in, not add-ons.

My shop is small. Are we even in scope for CMMC Level 2?

Scope is triggered by data type, not headcount. If you receive, process, store, or transmit engineering drawings, material specs, inspection data, or program details from DoD work, you handle CUI and you're in scope. A 12-person shop has the same compliance obligation as a 200-person shop.

Smaller shops can use an enclave approach to scope only the systems that touch CUI, not the entire operation. FedCloud is sized for small shops on purpose. The whole point of the inherited and shared controls is that you don't need a full-time IT compliance team to run it.

The fastest way to know if it fits is a 30-minute scoping call. We'll look at your specific contracts and tell you straight.

We already have an IT person. Why do we need a different ERP?

What we're solving is where your data lives, not who manages it. Your IT person can't make a non-FedRAMP ERP FedRAMP-compliant — that's a hosting environment requirement, not an IT discipline problem. We give them a platform that already meets the standard, so their effort focuses on what they can control: facility, endpoints, training, and your shop's organizational controls.

How much does FedCloud cost?

FedCloud is $37,870/year for a 10-user package. That's all-in, including the SAFE+ security bundle and AWS GovCloud hosting, bundled in, not bolted on.

For shops over 10 users, pricing scales with users and ARR. The pricing rule: greater of $25,000 or 50% of total ProShop ARR.

Billing is two invoices. Invoice 1: $15,000 at signing, infrastructure provisioned immediately. Invoice 2: ACV minus $15,000 at GA Migration, prorated daily from your migration date through end of contract term.

For context, one lost DoD contract renewal typically exceeds several years of this investment. A scoping call gives you a real number for your shop in 30 minutes.

What happens after I book a call?

A 30-minute scoping conversation. No slide deck, no sales pitch. We ask about the work you're doing, the contracts you're bidding on, and where your data lives today. We tell you straight whether FedCloud is the right fit for your shop or not.

If you decide to move forward, we scope an environment with you and bring in your RPO if you have one. If you don't, we'll point you toward one we trust.

What kind of support does ProShop offer?

You’ll have access to our customer support team, self-guided learning through ProShop Academy, and a dedicated customer portal - everything you need to succeed, right at your fingertips. ProShop also has an in-app chat directly to our support team. This flexible model ensures you only pay for the access your team needs.
